IAPMO Research and Testing, Inc. is a product certification body which tests and inspects samples taken from the supplier's stock or from the market or a combination of both to verify compliance to the requirements of applicable codes and standards. This activity is coupled with periodic surveillance of the supplier's factory and warehouses as well as the assessment of the supplier's Quality Assurance System. | IDENTIFICATION: | The producers name or trademark must be stamped or cast on each bar or ingot. The alloy grade designation or nominal composition, or both, must be stamped on each bar or ingot for identification along with the specification number. Each spool or container must be marked to show the specification number, type designation, dimensions, and unit weight of wire or other form and lot number. The producers name or trademark must be marked on the spool or container. The material must be packaged to provide adequate protection during normal handling and transportation. The type of packaging and gross weight of container will, unless otherwise agreed upon, be at the producer's or supplier's discretion, provided that they are such as to ensure acceptance by common or other carriers for safe transportation to the delivery point. For bar or ingot solders a lot number must be marked on each shipping container or inside package. The product shall also bear the UPC® certification mark. |

| CHARACTERISTICS: | A lead-free plumbing solder, designed to join copper tubing, including potable water systems. These solders meet the lead-free requirements of the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. To be used with an IAPMO listed flux and in accordance with the requirements of the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code. Products comply with the applicable sections of the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code® and the International Plumbing Code®. Manufactured in compliance with ASTM B 32-2008. Products listed on this certificate have been tested by an IAPMO R&T recognized laboratory. This recognition has been granted based upon the laboratory’s compliance to the applicable requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. |
